Question about medical cost for Koreans who travel abroad–if you have need for medical services in another country, what do you do? Local country I guess will not recognize Korea’s national health, so I assume you pay yourself, and then, what, bring bills back to local national health center for reimursement? Is that how it works? Or are you not reimbursed unless you have a private medical plan back in Korea? I guess most Korean people do NOT have their own medical plan, so what happens if you are in another country? Thank you very much.
