Regional editors manage and edit stories from our regional and language-based author teams.
Lingua Translation Managers
Lingua is a project that translates Global Voices stories into dozens of languages. Translation managers run each language site, support and train translators, and review translations before they are published.
We are looking for volunteer Translation Managers in the following languages: Albanian, Amharic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Simplified Chinese, Czech, Danish, Farsi, Filipino, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Igbo, Kazakh, Khmer, Korean, Kurdish, Macedonian, Myanmar, Odia, Polish, Serbian, Swahili, Swedish, Tetum, Turkish, Urduand Uzbek. Global Voices was co-founded in 2005 by Rebecca MacKinnon and Ethan Zuckerman, who remain members of our community and serve on the board of Stichting Global Voices.
