Murdered Mayor Case Stir Controversy on Ecuadorian Twitter

Daniela Gallardo posts [es] on Veo y Escribo about the recent murder [es] of elected mayor of Muisne in the region of Esmeraldas, in Ecuador and the comment about it via Twitter by excandidate to the Guayaquil City Hall, Viviana Bonilla [es]:

“Grief and indignation about [what happended to] Walker Vera, many bullets will be necessary to stop the Revolution. Hugs for his family and all Muisne” tweeted Bonilla hours after the news was published. Although by then there was no confirmation of the reasons for the homicide, only rereading the tweet is enough to understand that the comment by the militant of Alianza País is a product of carelessness and, besides that, she grip on the selfvictimization.

Daniela selects some tweets as response:

“They want to stop the Revolution with their terrorist violence, but they won't succeed. We all united, organized. We will win”, @Free19582013 answered her. “Why politicize a tragedy when its causes haven't been investigated yet? There should be more prudence….”, wrote @Calvito_2r. @AndresCrespoA said “what a demagogic, premature, aggressive irresponsible tweet. It sounds like me tweeting. But you are a Minister. Get some advise, please”. And a thread of responses against the tweet is shown on Bonilla's profile.
