Re-branding I think is the making of a new image,a new identity. But this can only be achieved with all hands on deck, with the pace being set with the holders of public offices. Of course the followership will gladly align success.
I concure with Manuels view of taking the re-branding to the so called leaders before going to the grassroot. If we must talk about re-branding, we must have to involve struongly the so called leaders who are in th rigth position to re-parkaging other wise called re-branding of the country. They are the people that conduct election, award contract, give allocation, and see to the image of the country within and outside; so they know the best way of approaching the re-branding policy. when this is done, then, the grassroot nationals will be involved where they will be conscientised and directd to the already set up re-branded policy as done by the leaders that they elected to represent them.
Rebranding! do we need that? i don’t think we need it cos’ the trued, we will not be rebarnded, you know who ever comes to office will like to creat a controversal issue that will carry people’s mind and continue to rebrand himself or herself, Nigeria, we are all of of the same character from head to toe, so is ONLY GOD WILL REBRAND NIGERIA. don’t deceive us please. the contempoary nigeria is abt rebranding, which is a gud thing.but why is that the nigeria government is nt ready to rebrand themselves and the nigerian system, yet they still talk abt rebranding nigeria.they talk abt rebranding, in system filled with all kinds of irregularities were federal government offical think they are above they law,were nigerian youth are considered as nothing, were the level of unemployment and poverty is on the increase. if all these developmental issues can not be tackled or adressed.then the government should forget about rebranding, because its(rebranding) just big fairy tale. the only solution, is for the federal government to stay focused on tackling these various developmental issues, after that, then they(federal government) can talk abt rebranding.
I share the same idea my dear, rebranding is all about strategic thinking and going back to the drawing baord to trully tell ourselves the truth. Rebranding is about a re-orientation of the mine and apositive change in our daily lifestyle and attitute. Its about about what people think about us but what we know of ourselves.
A change in our negative practices will eventually rebranding Nigeria….
the federal government of nigeria appaulad the idea of rebranding, because they see rebranding as another strategic plan or another avenue to defraud government of some money.if this is the case how do we expect nigeria to be rebranded. what nigeria ,needs is to redefine and not to rebrand.redefining is to restructure and reconfigure the federal system and the minds of those in power. how will nigeria embark on rebranding when the human development index of nigeria is very low, which is a big disadvantage to nigeria and our development, not only that, but the low hdi have painted a bad picture in the mind of other developed and developing countries, why would the federal government talk of rebranding when the level of development of nigerian youth is notin to write home about. and this inability of the federal govt to meet the needs of nigerian youths have caused a major heart break in these young minds of nigeria, and this have made these young minds to enage in illegal act which they find very good, because it put food on thier tables. as stated if the government want to rebrand they should first redefine themselves and also try to strategically reconfigure the minds of nigerian youths by geting them involved and constantly awear of the day to day activites and runing of igeria and how it affect their future postively.(wait for part 2 of the solution)
It’s te best of time for nigeria to rebrand after 50 years of independence, we need to begin again on a new leaf.I am personally in support of the rebranding process and i am startng a movement for the 2nd stanza of thenational anthem, cause it calls us back to God, i want all men,all nigerians to support this change, and very son , by the year 2025, nigeria willo be the mst desirable countary to live in in the world.
