Gustavo Xavier

Translator since 2015, I've set off as a linguist in 2009. As a translator I can reach out people in different parts of the world and bridge different cultures at the same time, that is a unique experience!
This new challenge as a Lingua Editor, where I can help other translators bring articles into Portuguese, has been invaluable. We're working hard to bring more voices to light in the Lusosphere.
Working with languages has considerably helped me develop many skills and get to know cultural aspects from different societies and peoples.
I'm looking forward to expanding my horizons and helping Global Voices stand out.
