Matthew at Waiguoren Critic of South China notes the lack of lessons on breaking up fights or calming people down before they begin in the official Police Olympic Security English Handbook, but with dialogue like this, a nightly stand-up routine at Olympic Village is an approach Chinese police should probably be considering:

Police: Why didn't you call the police at once? Foreigner: I was very angry. How could I stand such an insult? I hit him on the head with a bottle.”
