Committee To Protect Journalists reports that in an election campaign related violence BBC’s Sinhala service reporter Thakshila Dilrukshi was hospitalized after a political mob attacked her while she was on duty.

    this is something worst, we are democrates n we deserve rights to express, then why a person is treated in this way if they want to raise voice or wanna show up the truth, we just cannot accept this to happen with any of our media family nor with our nation peoples. Itz just like having official tigers (ltte) in house. This is gonna be worst if it is not stoped in the begining.
