Parasto is a Swedish-Iranian lawyer with expertise within discrimination law. She is a human rights advocate with a strong commitment to feminism, anti-racism and LGBTQ+ people's rights. She has a Kurdish background and focuses mainly in her writing on highlighting the crimes against human rights in Iran and giving a voice to the Iranian people's struggle for freedom.
