Hey Neha…
Actually, if you’d seen the video on YouTube (link here) that is being posited as a possible cause for the ban, you’d probably disagree with the political cause.
w.r.t politics, the damage has already been done in the elections. w.r.t religion and free speach, the offending video mentioned above does a lot more to damage cross-cultural relations than any difference of opinion.
Use unblocking software such as that of Black Byte Networks ( http://www.blackbytenetworks.com ) to bypass
the block.
blockin anything doesnt solve it, it’ll ooze it from someother place, being a pakistani i am ashamed tht despite championing the cause of democracy , basic of freedom to us youth are not availalbe , just shows the bureaucratic and mechnastic mindset of our rulers.
The above mentioned video in the post has been removed “due to terms of use violation.”

Thank you Google & YouTube team!
I think that it might have been my video Tommy Bin Laden that caused the ruckus. I completed it this Saturday and posted it right away. It’s supposed to be a parody of Osama, but in the tags I also put Pakistan as one of the lookups. The timing of my post and their ban seems awfully coincidental. This is the video (still up as of now) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka0S1bBWEHc
