Wunpini Fatimata Mohammed is the incoming assistant professor of Global Media Industries at the College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on feminisms, broadcast media, development communication, indigenous African media and political economy of communication, and has been published in a number of academic journals. Her writing has also appeared in Al Jazeera, Okay Africa and Africa Is A Country.
