Sanae Fujita is an associate fellow of Human Rights Centre, University of Essex, UK. She is a Japanese citizen based in the UK since 1999. Her area of research is Development and Human Rights, as well as freedom of information. She teaches her area of expertise regularly both in the UK and Japan.Her publications include, The World Bank, Asian Development Bank and Human Rights: Developing Standards of Transparency, Participation and Accountability (Edward Elgar Publishing, 2013)
