Ruslan Myatiev is a Turkmen journalist and human rights defender. Since 2010 he has directed the independent media outlet Turkmen.news (formerly known as Alternative Turkmenistan News) from exile in the Netherlands. He studied journalism at the American University of Central Asia, and political science at the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
