Myroslav Laiuk is a writer, journalist, screenwriter, and professor at the National University Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. He has authored three books and three collections of poetry which have won numerous awards: BookForum Best Book Award, Kovaliovs’ Foundation prize, Litakcent Roku, Smoloskyp prize, BBC Book of the Year shortlist, and more. Myroslav's texts have been translated into 20 languages, and his books have been published in Lithuania, Slovakia, and Poland. He has penned feature articles about the war in Ukraine and other texts which have been published in Los Angeles Review of Books, Nowa Europa Wschodnia, New Statement, Lawfare, LitHub, and more.
