Maryna Bakieva is a journalist and poet from Kherson, Ukraine. She has worked in journalism since 2014 writing on fashion and culture for L'Officiel, Elle, Forbes, DTF Magazine, and other Ukrainian and foreign media. Since 2022, she has covered Ukrainian art, LGBT soldiers in Ukraine, issues of rebuilding Ukraine, and developments in Kherson. She took part in a number of poetry and art festivals in Ukraine. Currently, Maryna lives in Kyiv.
