A French-Serbian freelance journalist and photographer, Marta holds a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from King's College London and is currently undertaking her MSc in International Development Studies at the University of SOAS, London. Her areas of expertise include neoliberalism, indigenous and peasant land struggles against extractive industries, social movements and alternatives to development, with a focus on South America. She's also interested in the political and economic dynamics of the Balkan region following the breakup of Yugoslavia.
