When she doesn't write for news, she blogs at She co-founded an youth-led group specialising in short-film to working to promote youth-produced Khmer films. A community event organizer, Kounila loves co-organizing events such as FilmCamp Phnom Penh, BlogFestAsia 2012, and Wikipedia editing workshops. She finds herself passionate in media and travels.
