Kondwani Magombo is a creative writer and journalist from Malawi, born on April 16, 1975, in the small town of Balaka, who started his writing career in early secondary school days upon being inspired by local and African writers. While in secondary school, he published over 15 short stories under the pen name, Ziggy Magombo. He’s a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and currently working with the government-run Malawi News Agency (Mana). Magombo also corresponds for international news outlets, including the Chinese Xinhua News Agency.
