Kati is currently pursuing her Master's in Social Psychology at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Xochimilco in Mexico City. Her research will focus on rehabilitation programs for youth who have been involved in crime. She has primarily worked with survivors of violence and was previously a human rights accompanier in Colombia.

In her free time, Kati likes hiking, visiting museums, and eating spicy food.
