Mexican music in an Andean market, misplaced cities, and negative stereotypes of Peruvians are some of the complaints made by Peruvian bloggers in response to the new Indiana Jones movie. Many bloggers have taken these glaring errors very seriously, but others think that movies should entertain, and not teach history (Spoiler alert).

Peru: President Says Country Closer to Overcoming Poverty

President Alan Garcia recently stated that Peru is a step away from overcoming poverty and soon will no longer be a developing nation. He cites statistics that by the year 2015, less than 10% of the population will be living in poverty. Peruvian bloggers carefully examined the process in which these figures were measured, and whether this is even possible.
