Hiba Dlewati is a recent graduate from the University of Michigan with a BA in Communication and International Relations. Hiba's writing has been published in Today's Zaman, The Michigan Times, Qua Literary Magazine and United for a Free Syria. She has lived in the US, Syria and Turkey, where she is returning soon to begin my career as a researcher on the Middle East for the Syrian Forum in Istanbul. Hiba continues to do translation and research on gender based violence for Women Under Siege, and has traveled with director and journalist Lauren Wolfe to the Syrian border.
