Filip Noubel · May, 2019

As the managing editor for Global Voices, I explore new ways, formats and technologies to tell stories in order to make sure we can link them to our multiple audiences. I first started in GV in 2015 as a writer and translator.
Today I describe myself as a cultural nomad, language addict, literary translator and booktivist. I call all those places home, as I have reshaped my identities, and found love, friendship, inspiration, books, stories to share and my four cats in Athens, Beijing, Bishkek, Clogher Beach (Baile an Fheirtéaraigh), Istanbul, Kathmandu, New York, Odessa, Paris, Prague, San Francisco, Tashkent, Tbilisi, Tokyo, Vilnius.
I also work as an Editor at Large for Central Asia at Asymptote Journal and have run two cafés in Beijing and Prague.
