Andreja Stojkovski is the Executive Director of PRESPA Institute.

He graduated at the Faculty of Law of the University Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje and finished his Master’s Studies in EU Law at the University Carlos III in Madrid, as a fellow of the Agency for International Cooperation and Development of the Kingdom of Spain.

Andreja has twenty years of professional experience with the Institutions, as a National Legal Expert on several projects in the area of Environmental Law, Teaching Assistant in Higher Eduation, as well as with Civil Society. After graduation, he started working with the Unit for European Integration at the General Secretariat of the Government where he followed the area justice and home affairs, and worked on harmonization of laws and the first National Programme for the Approximation of the Aquis. As of October 2006, to August 2018 he was part of Civil Society, advocating for the Europeanisation of Society and EU Accession. In this period, he participated actively in many formal consultative processes with the EU Member States, as well as with the European Commission, while coordinating the chapter on Control over the Police and the Security And (Counter)Intelligence Agencies under the Proposal for Urgent Reform Priorities within the Blueprint Group. He was elected as constitutive member of the Council for cooperation and development of civil society of the Government of Republic of North Macedonia. From 2009 to 2015 he was elected as Teaching Assistant at the University American College Skopje. In the period when the European Commission organized the Explanatory Screening for North Macedonia, he was a member of the Negotiating Team as deputy to the Chief Technical Negotiator.

As a member of Civil Society Andreja took part in many processes and represented the country in research projects and conferences.

Andreja is one of the founders of PRESPA Institute, and has been the Executive Director, as of December 2019.
