Adila Aghayeva is a film critic, cultural journalist, and photographer based in Baku, Azerbaijan. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Film Studies and Cinema Criticism. She has written analytical film essays for Azerbaijani platforms, including Film Fiction magazine and Kinoyazar, as well as her own blog. She has also contributed historical, cultural and film-related articles to the Croatian platform Romi.hr (Roma National Council). Aghayeva currently works as a content creator for the “SevilFest”, Azerbaijan's International Women's Documentary Festival, where she is responsible for communicating the festival's narrative and visual identity to a broad, international audience.
