The following is a version of a partner post that first appeared on the website Chai-Khana.org.
Rich vineyards, fertile pastures and mostly arable land lie along the road connecting the two Armenian villages of Baghanis and Voskepar. This stretch of tarmac in the north of country is part of the artery linking Armenia's capital Yerevan to the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
It also leans towards the border with Azerbaijan and suffers from increasingly regular Azerbaijani sniper fire and shelling. Nevertheless, villagers and drivers have no other choice than to keep up with their daily life.
English subtitles are available for the video below, filmed and produced by Lusine Balyan.

Armenian Military Forces occupied 20% of Azeri lands, organized massacres and Khojaly genocide, so, what all these people should do instead? To cast roses before them?
hmmm… so you are ready to conveniently forget Sumgait, Kirovabad, Nakhichevan, Baku – not to mention bombing of civilians all across Karabakh? well, you won’t convince anyone with an idiotically one-sided narrative. Sorry.
Muslim turkic/azeri conquered 90% of the Christian Armenian’s native territories. They want the remaining 10% Christian Armenia to be forcefully converted to their backwards cultures, ruled by one of their authoritarian, human right abusing dictators.
Why don’t you write about what the Armenian side is doing? This is the poisoning of border rivers, blocking water reservoirs for Azerbaijani farmers. I’m not talking about the fact that the walls are being built on the Azerbaijani side. How do you think why? because the Armenian side, including snipers, periodically fire at border villages including children! There is also an interesting point, some Armenian positions located on the border are on the territory of Azerbaijan, how come ???
Muslim turks azeris want to exterminate the remaining first Christian nation Armenians from their native lands. They are the forefathers of the ISIS ideology. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZu2zqFE_gI
