Categories: East Asia, Eastern & Central Europe, Latin America, South Asia, Brazil, India, Russia, Singapore, Ukraine, Health, Human Rights, Labor, Protest, War & Conflict, Global Voices Podcast

The Week That Was at Global Voices podcast takes a look at some of the stories that have recently come out of the Global Voices newsroom. This week, we speak to former RuNet Echo co-editor Tanya Lokot [1] and current RuNet Echo co-editor Isaac Webb [2] about the recent flare-up of tensions between Ukraine and Russia and what Ukrainians think about the situation.

We also tell you stories of ordinary people facing injustice in Singapore, India and Brazil. And, returning to Ukraine, we hear a dispatch from Global Voices executive director Ivan Sigal [3] about the uncomfortable peace in one Ukrainian city not far from the front lines of war.
