Watchcut has added Japan to its ongoing video series “100 Years of Beauty,” providing a fascinating look at how beauty trends for women have changed in Japan over the last century.
The series uses a time lapse to track changes in makeup and hairstyles for women across a number of cultures over the past 100 years. Besides Japan, countries covered by the series include Iran, Korea and the Philippines, among many others.
