GV Face: Voting After the Revolution in Tunisia and Ukraine

Tunisia and Ukraine recently held elections, a challenging feat in a post-revolutionary time. In both countries cutting-edge online platforms were deployed to raise awareness and help monitor voting but the election process itself was marred with logistical difficulties and other circumstances, like the ongoing conflict with pro-Russian forces in Ukraine and an electoral boycott in Tunisia by voters dissatisfied with political performance during the last three years.

GV's Tunisia author Ahmed Medien and our Runet Echo editor Tetyana Lokot  discuss the outcome of the elections, as well as the role the Internet and social media has played in the electoral process in this episode of GV Face.
