With 98 percent of the votes officially counted in Colombia's presidential election [1], incumbent President Juan Manuel Santos (nicknamed Juanpa) has 5.7 percent more votes than his opponent Oscar Iván Zualuga:

‘Juanpa’ was elected.

Zuluaga acknowledges defeat and congratulates President Santos.
