Egypt's former president Hosni Mubarak was sentenced to three years in prison for corruption today (May 21, 2014), after he was found guilty of embezzling millions in state funds on the renovation of his family residences. Netizens take to their keyboards to glee at the sentence under the hashtag #مبارك_طلع_حرامي [ar] which means Its Turns Out Mubarak is a Thief.
Also sentenced were Mubarak's two sons, Alaa and Gamal, who were slapped a four-year-sentence each, for their role in siphoning state funds earmarked for renovating presidential palaces, but were instead used for their own family residences.
Like many Egyptians, Rana wonders why a light sentence was given to Mubarak and his sons. She tweets [ar]:

While some people have been sentenced to death for protesting against the coup, Mubarak is [only] sentenced to three years
Alfred Raouf too is not pleased with the leniency of the sentence. He refers to the recent sentencing of activist Mahienoor ElMasry to two years in prison, for taking part in a protest.
— Alfred Raouf (@Kemety) May 21, 2014
Do we really think that we will be able to overthrow the state and that the state will overthrow itself with its [growing] injustice? Mahienoor gets sentenced to two years for chanting and Mubarak steals 18 million US dollars and gets a three-year prison sentence!
Salamonty adds:
— العُمدَة (@Salamonty_) May 21, 2014
[Mubarak] is the reason for the illiteracy of three generations and for their poverty and for the sickness of millions of people because he and his dogs stole the nation's wealth – in addition to killing the youth of the January revolution
And Shohdy remarks:

I am not happy that Mubarak has been convicted of being a thief because that was certain. I was hoping he would be convicted of murder
But Raafat Rohaiem gloats:
— رأفت رُحَيّم (@Raafatology) May 21, 2014
See how life's fortunes turn. Mubarak is sentenced to prison for a ceramics set, a dozen of water taps and a bed cover
Amani Mahgoub hopes this sentence will nip the aspirations of Mubarak's sons from running for presidential elections in Egypt in the future. She also has another pressing question:

Now that Mubarak is a thief and his sons are implicated in crimes, they cannot stand for presidential elections. Will he [Mubarak] get a military funeral?
It is not known whether Mubarak will actually be imprisoned in a cell or will spend his time in a military hospital, where he is currently under “house arrest” following his retrial for his abuse of power and role in the murder of protestors during the January 25 revolution which overthrew his 32-year tenure.
