China: Constitutionalism is for Capitalists

The use of constitutionalism is but a new way to force China to adopt Western political systems.


A number of pro-Communist Party's media outlets have published editorials justifying the one-party regime saying that “Western political concepts like separation of powers are alien and unsuited to China.” Many of the country's intellectuals who have been openly advocating for constitutionalism and political reform. Off-beat China translates their reactions.
