The work of Syrian photographer Yazan Homsi [3] within the zones of conflict and war in Syria show the tragic situation of the people of the besieged city of Homs. His photograph [1] (above) of a disabled women looking for her home amid the rubble of Main Street of the city of Homs won the first prize in the Ninth Arab European Photography Festival held in Hamburg, Germany.
