German daily Handelsblatt reportedly picked Greek prime minister Antonis Samaras as politician of the year [1], after yet another round of austerity measures [2], another bailout tranche [3] to Greece, a warning from the European Commission [4] of more to come, and endless ‘GRexit’ speculation [5] (on whether Greece will exit the Eurozone and default).
