A small team of Greeks in Zurich [1] decided to expose Greek police brutality with a traveling photo exhibition in various European capitals. @Ypopto_mousi tweets [2] a link to a poster in his [3] blog, [4] [el] which gives more information on his friends’ effort to bring this project to life, as well as a police violence case summary.
The organizers will try to raise funds for the exhibitions via crowdfunding [5]. Moreover, they will set up a competition for fine arts students to launch a mobile exhibition starting from Zurich. The aim is to highlight the phenomenon of violence by Greek police, who in August 2008, were convicted of at least nine incidences of abuse [6] by The European Court of Human Rights.
