Cat Finds Home Thanks to Kids’ Facebook Campaign

Facebook campaign to adopt a cat

“‘My sister and I really want a cat. Our papa promises we can get one if we can get 1,000 likes'”

Hairyette Pawturr may be the first cat to find a home via Facebook thanks to a campaign by 7-year-old Remi and his 1-year-old sister Evelyn in the United States, writes Ingrid King on Conscious Cat. Their picture currently has 128,723 likes, 107,876 shares and the family have now adopted a tabby cat from the Ellen M. Gifford Cat Shelter.
