DNA Algérie reports [fr] that Algerians are outraged by the behavior of former French Defense minister Gérard Longuet who when asked what he thought of a possible recognition of French colonial crimes during the Algerian War gave a “bras d'honneur” (the equivalent of giving the bird). M. Longuet thought he was off the air when he made the gesture.
