Latin American Netizens Join Forces to Overcome Poverty

Regional organization TECHO is using Facebook [es], Twitter [es], Google Plus and YouTube [es] to raise awareness about poverty in Latin America and the Caribbean on October 17, International Day for the Eradication of Poverty.

A Google hangout, titled “Is poverty the principal limitation in the development of Latin America?”, will be held today, October 17, at 9:30 pm (GMT-4). You can follow the hangout on Twitter with the hashtag #TECHOhangout [es]. More information on the TECHO website and under the hashtag #NoMasPobreza [es] (“no more poverty”).
