Yemen: Why Insult Women?

Yemeni netizen Hind Aleryani questions [ar] the demeaning manner in which some people talk about women on social networks.
On Facebook, she writes:

What is the reason for the deterioration of manners. All the photographs of women I see [on social networks] have obscene comments on them. I was just looking at photographs of Tawakkol Karman and Asma Mahfouz and the obscene comments were about them as women and not criticism of their political thoughts or even their personalities. What is the reason when a woman is being criticised, they always use this method of insults and slurs? Their manners have certainly vanished
