Every year, bloggers around the world join forces and write about one topic, on one day, to reach a collective audience of millions. It's Blog Action Day today (October 15, 2012) and this year bloggers around the world are reflecting on “The Power of We” – when people get together to make the world a better place. To participate, you can register your own blog on Blog Action Day's website. They also have a liveblog and a Tumblr blog where they track all contributions. On Twitter, the hashtag to watch is #BAD12.
On Global Voices, you'd think it was Blog Action Day every day, since we're always sharing new information about online movements and brave people everywhere. We warmly support a day to reflect on “the power of we” and any initiative that shows how bloggers can make a difference together.
We'll be updating this post throughout the day with links to all #BAD12 entries by Global Voices contributors.
