Japan: House of Representatives Passes ACTA

ACTA and three other motions were all adopted together in a plenary session [ja] of the Japanese House of Representatives on September 6, 2012. 

No major newspapers reported on the event, but netizens commented on Twitter [ja] as they watched a live cast of the plenary session. An anti-ACTA protest in Ginza on September 9, was broadcast on journalist Yasumi Iwakami's Ustream channel.
