Colombia: One Night in a Cell

In his blog La Ventana, Juan Batallas publishes a two-part post about one night he spent in a cell at an “immediate reaction unit” (unidad de reacción inmediata, URI, set up by the Attorney General's Office [es]). In the first part [es] he tells the story of his confinement and the people he met there, while in the second part [es] he explains and gives details about his arrest (for possession of a small dose of marijuana).
