Czech Republic, Ukraine: Migrant Domestic Workers’ Rights

GV Author Tetyana Bohdanova, who blogs at Good Girl Gone Ukrainian, writes about a video created as part of the campaign [cs] for the rights and better treatment of Ukrainian migrant workers in the Czech Republic. The video [cs] shows a Czech teenager yelling at the Ukrainian cleaning lady who had misplaced his math homework; the cleaning lady, identified as Ljuba Grigorenko, ends up solving the young man's math problems very quickly: she used to work as a math teacher in Lviv before circumstances forced her to take a menial job abroad.
