Babatope Babalobi, Secretary General WASH-JN [1] [Water, sanitation and Hygiene journalists network (WASH)] discusses [2] two meetings on water and sanitation held in Marseilles last month: “It seems that the organisers of the two events wrongly assumed that all citizens are able to access water and sanitation services through public or privately owned or managed conventional water system which unfortunately is not the case particularly in most parts of Asia and Sub Saharan Africa.”
