Amid a rough winter in Jordan with little optimism in the air, Ammanis found solace in getting snowed in on Thursday, making it a long white weekend; joyfully hyper tweeting and photo sharing snow covered neighborhoods and some whacky snow creations.

It was a weekend of carefree play while breaking away from imposed and self imposed stereotypes, confusion, control, and judgement. The freedom to create and recreate is bringing out the essence of humanity's beautiful soul – if only for a couple of snowy days, a welcome break. Following are a few photographs shared by netizens.
