  • Given the many decades that South America spent underneath the the yoke of American foreign policy, the wars of which caused in great part the so-called orphan crises in these countries, of what value is it then to parrot the dominant discourse as spoken by First World parents further adding fuel to the fire by stealing Guatemala’s children? Global Voices? We know this story. Let’s hear from the bereaved mothers and siblings broken apart instead of those with the luxury and the means to kidnap from far away.
