The association MIL [1] – Movimento Internacional Lusófono (International Lusophone Movement) [pt] – has written an open letter [2] [pt] to the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paulo Portas [3], addressing the “inflection of the Portuguese State's position towards Galicia”. MIL considers the Spanish region of Galicia [4] as an integral part of the Portuguese language space.
