Vinegar- Acetic acid used for Food product. In Fact vinegar is Acetic acid manufactured from FERMENTATION / ETHANOL ROUTE ie Sugar cane – Molasses – Ethyl alcohol – Acetaldehyde – Acetic acid . This should be the true acetic acid to be used as Vinegar being manufactured from Ediable items.
Present Acetic acid in market is mostly of METHANOL ROUTE. This is a Synthic process (from Petrolium industry) and should not be used as Vinegar for food product. This is good for Textile and other industry to reduce the cost of end product.
So Ediable industry should use ediable vinegar
