“My favorite novelist has just been elected into the Académie française [1]“” write Khira [2] [fr], from Morocco, and  Patricia [3] [fr], on behalf of the Lebanese diaspora, happy to announce on their blogs that Lebanese writer and novelist  Amin Maalouf [4] was elected a member of the Académie française on June 23, at the  seat left vacant by  French anthropologist Claude Levi-Strauss [5].
