Syria: Reports of Telecom Disruptions as Protests Rage

Twitter users in Syria are reporting that mobile internet telecommunications have been disrupted today, as protests continued across the country.

Furious Syrian reports [2]:

Mobile internet and 3G net coverage is down in #Syria. The two and only cellular operators are owned by Assad's cousin Rami Makhlouf

Human rights activist Wissam Tarif notes [3]:
