Indonesia: Geothermal power potential

Blogger Multibrand hopes that Indonesia would maximize its geothermal power potential since it has 40 percent of the world's geothermal reserves.

  • I hope so too.

My company has the only geothermal concession on Bali.

We have full support of SBY, the Central Government, and local (Bali) communities. For some strange reason, the Governor of Bali is publicly making negative statements about geothermal energy.

I’m hoping the local people and local government, who all support our project, raise their voices and make him help the island. Right now, Bali is completely dependent on power from Java and fossil fuel generators.
