Today marks the 10th day of the ongoing Day of Wrath protests in Bahrain. Since last Saturday, protesters at Lulu Roundabout have been protesting peacefully without any riot police present.
Today, the Royal Court officially announced that Friday 25th February will be a day of mourning to the martyrs who had fallen since February 14th. It was announced on Twitter via the Information Affairs Authority official Twitter page.

Some welcomed the gesture as it followed the Crown Prince's promise of holding a day of mourning and as a gesture of goodwill and serious intention towards dialogue, others were not satisfied.

Blogger Mohammed Al-Maskati (@emoodz) wonders if this announcement will mean that the protests and acknowledgement of the fallen martyrs will be broadcast on Bahrain's national TV, which has failed to air any of the Pearl (Lulu) Roundabout protests and focused on the recent pro government rally held at Al-Fateh Islamic Centre.
